About the Role

The Account Coordinator position is responsible for providing entry-level support for multiple account teams. Work includes ownership of developing media lists, media monitoring, research and media relations support.

Daily tasks are diverse and can include any of the following:

    • Desktop research on a range of issues and industries

    • Creative ideation

    • Press release writing

    • Pitch development

    • Identification of media targets

    • Media outreach and relationship building

    • Media monitoring

    • Social media strategy and management

    • Project management

The Account Executive may be involved in breaking news/crisis engagements and may be called upon to provide support in emergency situations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses a mix of intellectual curiosity, energy, and emotional intelligence. About the Role

The Account Supervisor/Director is responsible for enhancing the image and reputation of Red Banyan through the successful development, maintenance and growth of both client accounts and staff.

Daily tasks are diverse and can include any of the following:

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and workflow to ensure that the team meets and exceeds client expectations as outlined in the scope of work for each client
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality
  • Serve as a role model to other team members
  • Monitor, engage and provide strategic counsel to clients
  • Develop strategic and creative integrated PR initiatives
  • Lead client teams, serving as the client-facing representative of Red Banyan
  • Fulfill tactical plans for clients
  • Keep track of deadlines and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner
  • Participate in preparation of new business pitches, proposals and/or presentations
  • Train and develop client services staff
  • Lead brainstorming efforts for events, outreach and other ways to add value for clients
  • Pitch stories and achieve consistent and demonstrable earned media results
  • Leverage existing press relationships, and constantly cultivate new contacts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including attending with clients, as required
  • Follow key trends by keeping abreast of each client’s industry, competition and coverage

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. He or she must have exceptional written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team. Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of strategic communications or agency experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience successfully managing teams.

About the Role

The Senior Account Executive has a very strong grasp of the tactical execution of public relations campaigns and continues to develop and refine strategic skills. While AEs and SAEs should both achieve results for clients and fulfill the deliverables outlined in each contract, SAEs must also demonstrate the capacity to consistently think and act strategically and proactively.

Bachelor’s degree required and 4+ years of experience in public relations or journalism, prior agency experience preferred.

About the Role

The Social Media and Communications Manager is tasked with building followers, brand awareness, equity, and value for the Red Banyan brand by engaging in meaningful conversation, and posting informative and engaging content across multiple social media platforms to drive website visits and create opportunities to generate leads for the sales pipeline. In addition, this role will help to educate our followers on the value and purpose of crisis communications, and the value of retained PR.

 

Daily tasks are diverse and can include any of the following:

    • Deliver data-driven results showing double-digit year-over-year increases in Red Banyan’s engagement and follower counts across multiple social media platforms

    • Manage all social media accounts for the company, its CEO, and other key company executives, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram

    • Develop and post compelling and engaging content aligned with our strategic plan with cadence, content, and platforms for posts detailed and linked to strategic goals

    • Conceive and develop appropriate content for a range of Social Media platforms including LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and to a lesser extent Instagram.

    • With our team, edit/write/create content related to crisis PR and other communications using best practices

    • Comment and engage with clients’ accounts and trending stories in the news, specifically where we can engage with support, provide value-added commentary, or share a unique perspective

    • Collaborate to design visually compelling graphics to support our content needs

    • Conceive and produce/edit (utilizing staff, coverage, and other first and second-hand videos) short video clips that can be utilized across multiple channels

    • Develop and commit to appropriate KPIs for measuring progress

    • Track and analyze posts (test and learn) to assess effectiveness and in pursuit if continuous improvement

    • Identify content that can be extended for use on the Red Banyan Website or other mediums

Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, graphic design, or related field preferred but not required.

    • The ideal candidate should have the proven skills and experience to grow our social media following and drive engagement through our social media channels by creating compelling content and nurturing engagers into customers. He/She must also demonstrate the capacity to consistently think and act strategically and proactively.
