Challenge:
In the wake of the terrorist attacks in Israel on October 7, 2023, a national nonprofit was feeling the effects of burnout. With a rapid increase in news surrounding the war on Israel and impending internal turnover, the organization’s internal social media team needed support in curating and drafting content for its five social media accounts, allowing them to keep up with their posting cadence and demand.
Solution:
Red Banyan mobilized quickly, becoming familiar with the organization’s content pillars and messaging. We worked closely with the organization’s internal social media team to flag news articles and stories that were flooding the media in the weeks after October 7th. We drafted copy and recommended social media graphics daily, and then delivered them to the team for review and scheduling.
Result:
- We drafted over 600 pieces of copy for the organization’s four social media channels and its CEO, in a four-month period.
- We created a pipeline of evergreen content for the organization that carried them past the end of our engagement date.
- We mobilized quickly on breaking news so the organization could post timely updates and statements on the stories people were talking about online.
