Sallie James is Red Banyan’s Strategic Content Manager, based in the Florida office. She’s a veteran news reporter and blogger who worked as a reporter for the Evening Times, the Palm Beach Post and the Sun Sentinel covering breaking news, government, features and crime for nearly 25 years. She was also C-SPAN’s South Florida stringer and has freelanced for numerous community news publications.
Her background also includes corporate communications and marketing with stints as a copywriter and blogger for a law firm, a large non-profit and the automotive industry. Originally from Chicago, Sallie has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Indiana University and an Associate’s degree in Legal Assisting from Broward College.
